Do I need a referral to see Dr. Collins?
No. Most patients can schedule directly without a referral. Some insurance plans may require one, but our team will verify this for you. If you are unsure, call and we will handle it.
How do I know if I need a hip or knee replacement?
If pain limits walking, sleep, work, or daily activity and injections or therapy are no longer helping, it may be time to consider joint replacement.
The decision is not based on X-rays alone. It is based on how much your life is being restricted.
Do you offer same-day joint replacement surgery?
Yes. Many patients are candidates for same-day outpatient hip and knee replacement performed at Lancaster Specialty Surgery Center.
You walk the same day and recover at home without a hospital stay.
How quickly can I be seen?
We also offer after-hours appointments on Tuesdays from 4 to 6 PM for patients who cannot miss work.
